Assisting with land for our first planters, supporting Winchburgh and getting phase one and two off the ground with enough timber to build loads of planters! Penny's great support ensured the project could get off the ground and helped to provie the right tools and contacts. Don't forget Penny was also a key part in working closley with the local primary school to help deliver a logo for WCGG.
Working closley to ensure our planters are in available all over the village and the ground around them are maintained easily by the factors and grounds people. We also had funding in 2020 for £469.11 to keep us growing.
Morrison Construction in September 2018 provided planter rings, soil and bulbs to ensure we can grow lots. 2019 will include a harvest on onion, garlic and potatoes already planted. Gavin also supplied the paint, brushes and spring bulbs!
Helping to get us started in June 2018 by providing produce to plant including edible violia, courgette and if you tasted the peruvian sweetcorn from the Tally Ho it came from here!
Supporting Winchburgh with £550 including free workshops and funding to buy trees, stakes, ties, fungi and fruit presser.

The local pub Tally Ho giving us space to build, plant and grow at the local pub. WCGG launched here in June 2018 and the local gardener David keeps them well watered and looking good during the hot months.
Alan has really helped WCGG with key contacts, helping to build and deliver planters as well as helping out at the Halloween Hunt to ensure it ran smoothly. Most recently has helped us apply for funding (news on this to follow soon!)
Secret Herb Garden helped provide some lovely edibles in June 2018 including mint, chives and parsley at the Tally Ho which survived the winter and is still growing!
Provided us in June 2018 with a huge trolly of edibles to fill our planters. Strawberrries on the Bellway path are still growing and we managed to double the amount with free runners in autumn 2018!
Supporting us by with agreeing locations, carrying out utlities checks and assisting us with key contacts within WLC. Becky our open spaces officer has been on board with our idea and even attended our launch in June 2018.
