Winchburgh Community Growing Group are now thrilled to have been chosen by dobbies
garden centre in Livingston. Laura from dobbies got in touch to let us know we had been selected along with another group in West Lothian to have been awarded £500 of items from dobbies!
Calvin met Laura a few weeks back and chatted over how this will support Winchburgh Community Growing Group with a focus on equipment for volunteers to use.
Recently we met Craig to collect loads of items - We're really grateful for the growing contribution...
Including compost, tools, gloves, seeds and even a wheelbarrow!
This now means at all future planting events we'll be able to provide gloves and tools to get involved.
Lots of food and flower seeds can now been grown in Winchburgh for the community to enjoy for free.
Growing that's supported locally.
